成人快手 Student Services Team
Higher education as an adult may not be for the faint of heart, but neither is the giant that you may be fearing. From making your first school inquiry to framing your hard-earned diploma, 成人快手 comes alongside you to make sure that you finish what you started and achieve your educational goals for a brighter future.
The 成人快手 Student Services Team (SST) is a comprehensive group of professionals who are dedicated to walking with you through each phase of your educational journey. They help you determine the academic plan that’s right for you, give you the roadmap to get there, and ensure you have the tools and resources to cross the finish line – all while guiding you through any obstacles you face along the way. This is YOUR team. It consists of advisors who are specialized to assist you throughout the 成人快手 admissions process, transfer advantage programs, your academic progress, and financial planning. So, who are they?
Community Development Executives
Many students transfer to 成人快手 from two-year colleges. Our Community Development Executives serve as the face of 成人快手 by developing relationships with these schools, as well as with corporate and community partners to facilitate meeting the educational needs of their students and/or employees. The Community Development Executive is often your first point of contact and serves as your advocate and liaison with other team members for seamlessly enrolling and merging into your OU degree program. Through more than 50 agreements with associate degree granting institutions, 成人快手’s transfer advantage program allows you to receive tuition savings that make completing your bachelor’s degree fast and affordable.
Enrollment Advisors
The Enrollment Advisor (EA) is a critical part of the Student Services Team, whether you are seeking a bachelor or master’s degree. As a prospective student, your EA provides services such as completing unofficial transcript evaluations, exploring your career interests, and giving initial guidance on degree selection. In a nutshell, your Enrollment Advisor helps you explore 成人快手 to make sure it’s the right fit for you. If it is, they walk you through the enrollment process to make is as simple and seamless as possible. They are ready and able to answer all of your questions.
Academic Advisors
It’s one thing to get enrolled; it’s another thing to get to graduation day and proudly move the tassel to the other side of your mortar board. What lies between the two? Your Academic Advisor. Graduation planning is a real thing, and without it you can easily veer off course. At OU, your academic advisor is like your compass, always making sure you’re taking the most direct route towards completing your degree while staying in tune with your personal needs. They check in regularly with you and help you with such things as transcript evaluation, career exploration, program selection, course schedule management, graduation audits, internships, and unique academic situations. It’s important to fully utilize your Academic Advisor for graduation planning so you can earn your degree in the most efficient and effective way possible.
Finance Advisors
This may be the area causing you the most angst – “How do I pay for this?” Just as you do graduation planning with your Academic Advisor, you will do financial planning for your degree with your personal Finance Advisor. Usually, there is more than one way to finance your education. The job of your Finance Advisor is to help you uncover all of the options and opportunities available to you for completing your degree. Whether assistance comes from the transfer advantage program outlined above, tuition reimbursement from your employer, grants and loans, scholarships, or work study, your Finance Advisor is committed to working with you to find viable options for funding your education.
Now that you know that you won’t be alone in this exciting journey, we encourage you to reach out to an enrollment advisor today to take the first step!

Leigh-Anne Iverson-Sommers
Executive Enrollment Advisor
Leigh-Anne has been with 成人快手 since 2006. Her previous work experience includes being a real estate broker, corrections officer, loss prevention specialist, substitute teacher, case manager and sales/marketing manager.
Leigh-Anne considers working in education rewarding and personal: "Working for 成人快手 and advising students on how they can earn their degree has been the most rewarding job I have ever had. I always tell my students to earn their degree, follow their passion, and find a career that speaks to their heart."
I have been around education my entire life. My dad was a teacher, and I taught dance classes from the age of 13. Right after graduation, I moved to Phoenix and was a middle school social studies teacher for seven years before transitioning to 成人快手. Now I work with students in Arizona wanting to complete their degrees. I also primarily work with our MAED students.
