Life in one of University-sponsored housing options will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Plan to take advantage of every opportunity to make as many friends and learn as much as you can. You will meet people from all over the United States and around the world, giving you the chance to learn about new cultures and customs and to share ideas.

Bennett Hall

Bennett Hall is a three-floor co-ed residence hall that houses approximately 158 students. It opened in 2000 and was named in 2003 to honor former 成人快手 Trustee Ransom Bennett.

This residence hall offers suite-style living. Each suite has a common living room and double bedrooms.

The hall has four first-floor apartments for available primarily to junior and senior 成人快手 students. The apartments consist of a double bedroom, communal living space and a full-size kitchen.

A common laundry facility is located on each floor, study areas and lounges are located throughout the building. Bennett Hall has a resident director (RD) and six resident assistants (RA).

All Rooms in Bennett Hall Feature:

Blue Mountain Apartments

Home to 16 co-ed students, Blue Mountain Apartments are located just north of campus on Oak Street. They are a short walk (approximately a half block) from campus and allow students the opportunity to live near campus, while having the option for an off-campus experience. The apartments offer all the amenities of apartment-living, including flat screen TV, sofa, desk/side table, full-size refrigerator, washer/dryer, and more.

Brown Hall

Brown Hall is a three-floor, co-ed residence hall that houses approximately 179 students in traditional residence hall rooms. It opened in 1968, had extensive renovations to the north wing during the summer of 2019. Second-phase renovations to the south wing will be completed in the summer of 2020. Brown Hall is named after Dr. LuLu M. Brown, a 1907 alum who taught at the OU pre-collegiate Academy from 1909 until its closure in 1925, and was an assistant professor of English until 1954.

This residence hall has community restrooms located on each wing. The building has a common lounge area for programs and hall meetings. Students may also use the lounge to watch TV, play pool or ping pong, or study. Laundry facilities are located on each floor. A resident director (RD) lives in Brown Hall, and six resident assistants (RA) live in the hall also.

Gillette House

Gillette House features hardwood floors, stained glass, a grand entrance, an abundant amount of community space, spacious community bathrooms, laundry facilities, furnished communal spaces, billiards room, and a large kitchen.

All rooms in Gillette House have:

  • High-speed wireless Internet access
  • Cable TV access (for fall 2019)
  • Blinds

  • Free-standing closet and/or Built-in Closet

HISTORICAL SKETCH

Formerly known as Sheldon Hall, this off-campus housing option is a historic, red brick home. Commissioned in the 1889, this home was built Herbert Franklin Sheldon who was a successful and influential Kansas business man. At one time, Sheldon Hall served as a residence hall for 成人快手, but was later sold. With the generous donation of the Charles and Sue Gillette family, the home is once again housing 成人快手 students.

Hasty Hall

Hasty Hall is a two- floor, co-ed residence hall that houses approximately 86 students in traditional residence hall rooms.

All Rooms in Hasty Hall feature:

  • Air conditioning, with individual suite thermostats
  • High-speed wireless Internet access
  • Blinds
  • Queen or King-sized bed
  • Free-standing closet
  • Bathroom in each room
  • Most rooms also feature a desk and chair

Legacy Apartments

This housing option is available primarily for junior and senior 成人快手 students. Located six minutes from campus near Legacy Square. The renovated apartment building boasts both single and double room options.

All Legacy Apartments are fully furnished and feature:

  • Full kitchen with a cooktop, refrigerator, and microwave
  • Washer and dryer
  • Internet and cable services
  • Wall-mounted flat-screen TV
  • Assigned parking spots

Martin Hall

Martin Hall is a three-floor co-ed residence hall that houses approximately 85 students in three types of suite-style arrangements. Martin Hall opened in 1947, closed in 1993, and re-opened in 1999 after extensive renovations. Originally dedicated as the women’s residence hall, it was renamed in 1960 to honor of President Andrew Martin and his tireless service to the University.

Each suite has a common living room with single and double bedrooms, a kitchen and common living area.

The hall has five first-floor apartments available primarily to junior and senior 成人快手 students. The apartments consist of a double bedroom, communal living space and a full-size kitchen.

The American Baptist Women of the Central Region provided furniture for the O'Dell Lobby area on the first floor. There is a laundry facility and vending area located in the hall's basement. A resident director (RD) lives in Martin Hall along with five resident assistants (RA). 

All Rooms in Martin Hall Feature:

OU Lofts on Main Street

The OU Lofts on Main Street are primarily reserved for upperclass students. Located above a local coffee shop at 4th and Main Street, just five minutes from campus. The renovated apartment building boasts two-, four-, and six-person suites with higher-end amenities.

All lofts are fully furnished and feature:

  • Full kitchen with a cooktop, refrigerator, and microwave
  • Washer and dryer
  • Internet and cable services
  • Wall-mounted flat-screen TV
  • Assigned parking spots
  • Stairwell mounted security cameras for safety
  • Full-sized beds

The Studios at Rock Creek

This housing option is available primarily for upperclassmen at 成人快手. Located a short drive from campus near the corner of 15th and Osage Street, the renovated space offers a single room living space for students.  

All Sudios feature:

  • A kitchenette, including microwave, mini-refrigerator, sink and storage space
  • Washer and dryer access
  • Internet services
  • Furnished lounges with flat screen tv
  • Individual bedrooms
  • Parking on-site
  • Elevator access
  • Card Access entry
  • Security cameras for safety

University Apartments

This housing options is available primarily for junior and senior 成人快手 students. Located two blocks from campus at the corner of 8th and Oak Streets, the renovated apartment building boasts four-bedroom suites with higher-end amenities.

All Apartments are fully furnished and feature:

  • Full kitchen with dishwasher, stove, and microwave
  • Washer and dryer
  • Internet and cable services
  • Wall-mounted flat-screen TV
  • Individual bedrooms
  • Assigned parking spots
  • Direct mail service
  • Stairwell mounted security cameras for safety

 

HISTORICAL SKETCH

During the mid-1960s and 70s, her in-laws, Joe and Ruth Patty, bought the plot and erected the building, which they leased to the University as supplemental housing due to a lack of male dormitory space. Gwen and her late husband, Jack ‘53, who formerly served as Dean of Students, helped the houseparent Pattys care for the building, which was dubbed Patty Hall at the time. The space later became women’s housing and was eventually sold and converted to apartments.

Southgate Studios

This housing option is available primarily for upperclassmen at 成人快手. Located a short drive from campus near the corner of 15th and Osage Street, the renovated space offers a single room living space for students.  

All studios feature:

  • A kitchenette, including microwave, mini-refrigerator, sink and storage space
  • Washer and dryer access
  • Internet services
  • Furnished lounges with flat screen tv
  • Individual bedrooms
  • Parking on-site
  • Elevator access
  • Card Access entry
  • Security cameras for safety
